General Voting Process
Anyone with a Kinolime account can vote after engaging with a screenplay. After reading or listening, you'll complete a short questionnaire about the story. Your vote's weight depends on several factors: how many scripts you've reviewed overall, your reading pace, and how accurately you answer the questions.
Round 1: First Audience Voting (March - April)
During this round, while you can engage with screenplays in any format, only votes on treatments count toward advancement. Each treatment provides a 5-10 page overview of the story. The top 10 screenplays with the highest treatment scores move forward to the judges.
Round 3: Final Audience Voting (June)
In this round, your vote reflects your complete understanding of the screenplay finalists. You can experience each finalist's story through multiple formats:
- Full screenplay
- Audio version
- Treatment
- Table read productions
- Writer presentations
Your final vote will represent your assessment of the screenplay's quality.
